Anna Lou Browning

Anna Lou Browning, 88, of Middleport, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, after a short illness.

She was born October 30, 1936, in Antiquity, OH, a daughter of the late Daniel Shane and Wanda "Dollie" (Stewart) Shane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Franklin, Daniel and Stephen Shane.

Anna was a longtime employee of the Farmers Bank and Meigs County V.A. Office. She was a graduate of Racine High School, enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her three sons, Ronald (Judy) Browning of Point Pleasant, Dale (Debbie) Browning of Sunbury, OH and Billy (Debbie) Browning of Jackson, OH;  and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the Letart Falls Cemetery in Racine, OH, with Paul Reed officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
