Angela Lynn Lathey

Angela Lynn Lathey, 40, of Gallipolis, died Friday, July 8, 2016, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born October 4, 1975, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Randy Wayne Colegrove and Rebecca L. (Berkley) Grueser of Letart. Angela was a guard at the Lakin Correctional Facility with the rank of Lieutenant. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Wayne Colegrove Jr.; stepfather, James N. "Jim" Grueser Sr.; and a stepbrother. She is survived by her husband, Charles "Murphy" Lathey of Gallipolis; her mother, Rebecca L. Grueser; stepmother, Ruth Colegrove of Apple Grove; mother-in-law, Alice Ann Lathey of Point Pleasant; two brothers, Joshua Colegrove of Barboursville and Earl Michael Colegrove of Bidwell, OH; one stepbrother; two sisters, Ashley Paige Colegrove of The Plains, OH and Amanda Nicole (Todd) Grueser of Point Pleasant; one niece Shelby Waugh; and a nephew, Cooper Ryan Saunders. A funeral service will be noon, Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Jim Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery, Thomas Ridge, Leon.
