A. G. Brillhart II, 83, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at Holzer Assisted Living, Gallipolis, OH.He was born August 22, 1935, in Sissonville, WV, a son of the late Azel G. Brillhart and Carrie (Sanders) Brillhart.A.G. was a member of Heights United Methodist Church and the Independent Order Odd Fellows No. 33 of Point Pleasant. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired from Kaiser/Century Aluminum in Ravenswood.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn S. Brillhart; and a son, Alan Gregory Brillhart.He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John and LeEtta Brillhart of Point Pleasant; one sister, Patricia Young; four grandchildren, Heath Alan (Carina) Brillhart of Jacksonville, FL, Kristen Jill (Adam) Evans of Yulee, FL, Joshua Allen (Katelyn) Hart of Point Pleasant and Christopher Alan Brillhart of Spartanburg, SC; and six great-grandchildren, Finn Brillhart, Jillian Evans, Faith Evans, Logan Evans, Isaac Hart and MaKenna Hart.A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Charles Marker officiating. Private burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Sissonville, WV.
