Adda Irene Miller, 97, of Point Pleasant, died Friday, May 14, 2010 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born September 12, 1912 in Leon, WV, a daughter of the late Charles William Hodges and Stella Alice (Bush) Hodges. Irene was a retired nurse's aide from Lakin Hospital, and a member of the Point Pleasant Chapter No. 75 Order of the Eastern Star and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Point Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Theodore Thomas, Lawrence Kelly, William A. Kerwood, Arthur McCoy, and Worthy W. Miller; a daughter and son-in-law, Lanada and Robert Wilcox; three sisters, Bessie Cadle, Josephine Lyons, and Bernice Russell; and two brothers, Russell Hodges and Homer Hodges. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Karen Thomas of Point Pleasant and Clarence and Patricia Thomas of Carroll, Ohio; six grandchildren, Patrick (Beth) Thomas of Cincinnati, OH, Ronald (Teresa) Thomas of Carroll, OH, Jonathan (Dayton) Wilcox of Columbus, OH, Sherry Vest of Columbus, OH, Jason Thomas of Point Pleasant, and Gabrielle Rhodes of Buchannon, WV; six great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Morikone officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lone Oak Cemetery in Point Pleasant.
