Aaron Kay Weaver

May 7, 1951 — August 1, 2024

Aaron Kay Weaver of Letart, WV, passed away August 1, 2024.  He was born to H. Marcus and Dora F. (Cullen) Weaver on May 7, 1951. He was delivered at the Point Clinic by "Doc Roy" Eshenaur on Main Street, Point Pleasant above Hall's Drug Store.  He lived the remainder of his life on the family farm as a dairyman.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Woods) Weaver; children, Brandon Weaver of Letart and Jillian (George) Harris of Elkview, WV; and grandson, Liam Harris.  He is survived by his siblings, Maxine Rose and Juanita (Marc) French both of Racine, OH, along with a niece and several nephews.

He was a 1969 graduate of Point Pleasant High School.  A member of the FFA traveling to WVU to represent the dairy judging team, National FFA convention in Kansas City, MO, where Richard Nixon was the keynote speaker, exhibiting dairy cattle and farm crops at the Mason County Fair, member of the WV State Farm Bureau and received the FFA State Farmer Degree.  He served in the United States Army having been honorary discharged while being deployed in Germany.

Aaron was thankful for crossing paths with his Sunday School Teacher, Genevieve Lewis, who was devoted to the task of seeing her students come to know the Lord with his free plan of salvation.  Having become a Christian, he was thankful for the Lord's guidance and the family he so graciously gave him.  Aaron was a member of the New Hope Bible Baptist Church in Point Pleasant.

A private family service will be observed at the family farm.
